Research and development of high added-value sportswear to improve the thermal comfort of the wearer.
As part of our R&D&I plan, at Mobel Sport we are currently researching new fabrics for high added value sportswear to improve the thermal comfort of athletes, and we are already in the development phase of functional prototypes, which are expected to be successfully completed during 2017.
The main objective of this project is the development of sports garments for use in different sports such as trail running, cycling, mountain sports, etc... that benefit the athlete thermally through the use of heatable systems on the one hand, and the functionalisation of fabrics through microencapsulated technologies or gels with cooling properties on the other, improving thermal comfort when carrying out sports activities as well as providing therapeutic properties.
"This project has been funded by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) and the European Union's Regional Development Fund (ERDF), through the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020 (CRIN)."
