[sc name="texto_estandar" ]In the fifth stage of the last Vuelta a España, Ángel Madrazo managed to take the win after a long breakaway in a high and unprecedented finish. It was at the Observatorio Astrofísico de Javalambre, after a mid-mountain stage where he broke away from the peloton with a Cofidis rider (José Herrada) and his team-mate, Jetse Bol, who came in second. This also won them the team stage.
The media impact of such breakaways and victories by modest teams is priceless. They managed to achieve the goal of combativeness, in an epic stage, to earn the right to stay in the international peloton for many years to come. But all the interest in the team, and especially in the charismatic cyclist, Ángel Madrazo, was heightened at the press conference. The winner managed to get all cycling fans into his pocket with his sincerity and happiness, as well as the anecdote that he hoped his wife would now let him buy a Playstation. The next day, from Sony Spain, he was given the precious console so that he could play with it and share it with his son.

Polka dot jersey

For 14 days he was leader of the mountains, achieving the precious polka dot jersey in the second stage. A prize for all the work he did, together with Burgos BH in the hard stages during the first days of the race. During those 14 days he fought tirelessly to maintain the lead in the mountains, although in the end he was unable to do so. At the end of La Vuelta he was in the breakaway for more than 700 kilometres.
They also won 5 prizes for their combativeness, for their enormous effort and fight every day of the race. And another of the prizes they won was the great affection of the fans during the race. The hashtag that the #LaVueltaBurgosBH team set up on social networks obtained more than 11,000 mentions during the Spanish round[/sc].

A young team

[sc name="texto_estandar" ]The new additions bring a lot more youth to the team, but a lot of versatility. They are cyclists with the desire to fight in every race and for Burgos BH to continue to be one of the most combative in the peloton.
They are complemented by experienced riders who bring patience and strategy to the team. Among them will continue the great winner of the Vuelta a España, Ángel Madrazo, as he has renewed his contract until 2021. With this renewal, it is clear that the team sponsored and dressed by Mobel Sport is committed to continuity in the professional peloton.
For the time being, the riders are enjoying a well-deserved rest in order to be able to face the 2020 season in top condition. Their goal is to continue fighting in the races, to take part in all the breakaways and to grow year by year.
