Introducing the new SPACE HCS chamois pad manufactured exclusively by Elastic Interface® for Mobel Sport cycling gear. With regard to its structure, it is conceived with an innovative multi-directional curvature so that the pad not only adapts to the body, but is part of it, so that when the cyclist moves on the saddle the pad follows his movement, providing comfort and protection at the points of maximum pressure.
It is a chamois pad for intensive use and long distance, with a combination of various densities, one inside the other; in the central part, two sandwiches of 120 kg/m³ of 10 mm high density foam plus 200 kg/m3 of 4 mm HCS guarantee extreme support along the entire area of maximum support of the pelvic rotation. All around, a 60 kg/m³ density foam ring makes the transition between the very high density foams and the wings, where the pedalling movement is generated. This construction of one foam inside the other allows for better contact with the saddle and greater stability.
HCS (Hybrid Cell System) layer: 200 kg/m³ density consists of open and closed cells at the same time. The open cells allow a very high breathability and the closed cells guarantee a constant support capacity for extreme distances. The very fast elastic return characteristic of this material allows it to recover its shape during the micro-movements of the cyclist when moving on the saddle and/or pedalling, thus guaranteeing a constant thickness and support capacity.
The exclusive EIT COOLCUBE fabric by Elastic Interface® made of polyester combined with polyamide. The polyamide ensures maximum softness against the skin and the polyester guarantees very fast drying.
The fabric is bacteriostatic (not antibacterial), i.e. it helps to preserve the bacteria that our body produces but does not allow exogenous bacteria (which come from the air and humidity) to proliferate; as they do not proliferate, they do not cause the transformation of sweat and the pad always remains odourless.
The fabric, which wicks moisture away through the foams, is soft to the touch and extremely stretchy, 4-Ways Stretch, guaranteeing maximum freedom of movement and preventing micro lacerations and chafing.
The central channel in the men's pad is designed so that the blood flows through the perineal area of the pudendal artery and there is no tingling sensation, being the point of maximum pressure of the whole body and preventing injuries or illnesses.
