Almost 600 cyclists gathered in the last 2016 edition to enjoy a new Medio Fondo cyclotourism challenge that rolled through a spectacular environment, Sierra Espuña and its surrounding towns, with the mythical ascent to the Alto del Collado Bermejo - Cima Marco Pantani PM 1st Cat. With 100% spring weather: sun, clouds, some cool, heat at the end and even a few drops on the highest peaks that did not tarnish a very nice day. The Mobel Sierra Espuña 2016 did not lack a detail and the organization, as usual in the CC Santa Eulalia, had everything perfectly controlled to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all cyclists. The route was perfectly coordinated and fully signposted, a whole structure as in the best cyclotourist marches. The spectacle and fun were guaranteed.
The usual training area for cyclists such as Alejandro Valverde, Luis León Sánchez, José Joaquín Rojas and Rubén Fernández was the ideal setting for a new challenge for all those who wish to experience the beauty of these Murcian landscapes of great cycling tradition, as well as its toughness, although the profile was suitable for all levels.
In addition, the event, which is part of the Murcia Region Cycle Tourist Challenge calendar, has a large parking area, showers, two refreshment stations, two timed sections and an aperitif/meal at the end.
